From the side line--Martha Parker

I was so happy at the weigh in on Friday. I have lost 2 lbs. So all our working out is paying off. I had a nice visit with former contestant Barbara Herrin, who had stopped by for her weigh in as well.

Once you get into the habbit of making the right food choices it's easier to say NO the bad food choices. It becomes a part of your lifestyle. I missed my workout on Saturday so I doubled up on Sunday. I personally think making up exercise is like trying to make up sleep. You can't really do it. I enjoyed the Sunday workout very much. I also checked my 5k time and my personal best so far is 52.30. So now I know what number I am working to beat for November 14 when we all reunite for the big race.

So week 7 here we come, our new lives are getting closer and closer each week now as the competition pool gets more and more narrow. Amber joins us on the sidelines and we get to keep encouraging the others. Good Luck on Thursday. See you all at the gym this week.
